Immigration Waivers | ||||
If you are an illegal immigrant, if you are in removal proceedings, if you are inadmissible to US because of a past criminal conviction or immigration violation, a 601 waiver or 212 waiver might help you get or keep a green card. You must have a spouse or child who is a US citizen or green card holder. You must show that your absence will create "extreme hardship" on either your spouse or child. For cancellation of removal you must also demonstrate either 7 or 10 continuous years of residence in the USA. | ||||
